setting up or shaping up

Is 'setting up' the correct word? How would you say the sentence?

All these close games and upsets are setting [us] up for an amazing week 2.
All these close games and upsets are setting [us] up to be an amazing week 2.

Is shaping up correct or is setting up better? Does this sentence mean that it's still week one or 2?
Week 2 is shaping up to be amazing because of the close games and all the upsets in week 1.

Thanks
