Hi

Is the red part natural English? Does the sentence sound OK to you?

(He bought the company, worked very hard, made many positive changes and died.)

His efforts set the ethos for an orderly and honest environment of the company.

Yes.

Yes, but it sounds rather formal. I don't see "ethos" used much in my readings, and I never hear it in conversation.
