Hi teachers!


I came across the sentence 1 online and wonder the sentences are grammatical.


1. I set the bell to ringing. (?)

2. I set the bell ringing. (0 ?)

4. I set the alarm go off (?)


I also wonder about the usage of 'catch'


5. I caught him stealing a book. (0)
