Replace engine oil and oil filter, cabin air filter and spark plugs (2002 - 2005 year models S40, V40 and XC90 V-8 not included, except VIN code 85).

how is this being read? trying to find out if this 2012 xc70 gets spark plugs or not. I'm reading that it is specifying that the 2002-05 s40 models do them and that the v40 and xc90 v-8 not included does not. am i wrong?
