Serrated v. jagged

Hi,

I would like to know the usage of the words "serrated" and "jagged". Does "jagged" especially mean pointed/sharp structures and "serrated" more curved ones? Also, is there a situation where these two words can be used interchangeably?

Thanks in advance,

Jagged things are irregularly sharp; serrated ones are regularly designed. I cannot think of a case where both could be used equally appropriately.
