Sergei Eisenstein

Hello!

Could you please check the following paragraph?

I have watched the Color of Pomegranates a couple of times before – I have tried at least. However, I have never been able to fully understand the film because it is so intricately embroidered with symbols that are as universal as local culture. (OR …. that are truly universal as well as related to local culture?)

Have you watched producer Sergei Eisenstein’s ‘’Ten Days That Shook the World’’ before? I’ve recalled one of the critiques on this film once again. That movie —just as the Colors of Pomegranates— was so high-level artwork and so intense that it is almost impossible to make sense of the film exactly. (OR … entirely/completely?)
