Serene/clear/bright

Question

The words 'serene', 'clear', and 'bright' mean both 'shiny' and 'pure (unmixed)' correct?

These words have different meanings when applied to different subjects.

Applied to a person, "serene" would be calm and peaceful. "Clear" would be able to focus one's attention. "Bright" would be quick-witted. (These are just examples.)
A pool of water could be serene and clear if it were clean and undisturbed.
If a surface is polished to reflect light, it could be bright and shiny.
You could say that a clear substance (liquid, solid, gas, powder, etc.) is pure and unmixed in some sense. But to a chemist (or metalurgist), pure gin, pure stainless steel are mixtures. *** knows pure air is a mixture (20% oxygen, 70% nitrogen, more and more carbon dioxide, and lots of garbage.)
"Clear" can mean "transparent" and it can mean "homogeneous." But you can have a homogeneous mixture. (not talking about classrooms)
