Is it correct to write:
"I was serendipitously surprised by this moment"?

Thanks

I suppose so, Mav, but 'serendipitous' is a fragile word, not to be overused. Are you sure you need it?

I asked just because yesterday I had had a quiz and I had written there this sentence. So I was wondering if it was correct way to write.
And what do you mean fragile? Is difficult for correct using?

No, it's just a beautiful word that should not be overused, lest it lose its ambience.
