Sequence of tenses

Hello everyone. I have a query about sequence of tenses. Could you please evaluate each of the four sentences below depending on whether or not it is natural? --

(A) I met a man whose brother is an illustrator.
(B) I met a man whose brother was an illustrator.

(C) Jennifer found a rug whose color she likes very much.
(D) Jennifer found a rug whose color she liked very much.

(A) I met a man whose brother is an illustrator. He's an illustrator right now, at the time of speaking.
(B) I met a man whose brother was an illustrator. He may still be an illustrator, or he may not. He may even be dead.
