Are the following sentences well structured?
Please note we are aware of the state of the carpet. We have reported it to City of London, who instructed the contractors to install the emergency telephone line in the lift. So it is their responsibility to arrange for the carpet to be cleaned, although there were a few stains on it prior to the work.
In relation to the gap in the wall, that is where the lift motor is located. If there is a problem with the lifts, the engineers can easily remove the panel and replace it. I’ve spoken to them about it in the past, but they told me that they can’t seal it off.
I will speak to Edward about this when he returns from annual leave.
