Sentences that have to do with DRIVING
Is the following correct? My corrections are in bold.
1 You don't feel confident behind/at the wheel when the road is slippery because you're not sure of/about your driving. BOTH and BOTH
2 Take the second street to your left/on your left Take the second street on your left or It's to second street on/to your left.
3 That's as fast as you can go when you're doubling on a moped. I don't know if you can say DOUBLING FOR WHEN THERE ARE 2 PEOPLE ON THE MOPED.
4 He was driving to close behind the car in front. TOO
5 The helmet was loose with him. NO The helmet was loose on him.
6 She was driving the car as if she was driving her bike. She changed lane everytime she could. OK

Grammar GeekI agree except for 6. ... as if she were driving her bike. She changed lanes ...as if she were driving her bike (Is 'driving her bike' fine, or should it be 'riding her bike'?

You're right - it should be riding her bike. I was thinking about motorcycles, but on thinking about it, I bet even they say "riding" and not "driving."
