Sentences Jan 31

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. However hard / badly I want, I am not able to leave early due to the workload. (I am trying to say that this happens with me every time)

2. John is out sick today. ( I heard a native speaker say this. I think it means John is sick and as a result he is off work today)

3. He has a funny walk, taking small brisk steps, swinging his arms wildly.

Thanks,

MG.
