Hi Demaryi;

The first 3 answers are examples of third conditional. The main clause makes a statement about something in the past that did not happen.

Sentence 1: I did not receive your package yet.
Sentence 2: The did not hire him.
Sentence 3: We did not reply yet.

So your questions should be matched to the events that did not happen. Your second question is OK

Thank you very much.

The answers are the base, I have to do the sentences. For that reason the sentences are awkward.

So, do you suggest a differente sentence in the fisrt one?

I can't think in anything!

In the 2nd sentence it would be better if I'd displace "guy" for "man"?

Hi Demaryi,

I assume you want to know whether or not the sentences in bold face type are OK. It would have been easier to help you and give you suggestions if you had told us exactly what your instructions were. For example, I do not know whether the speaker is supposed to be the same in each pair of sentences, or whether each pair of sentences should have two different speakers.

Hi Yankee, thanks. So, I have the answers and I need to write a question for them. But I need, preferably, to use the present perfect, past perfect and the 3rd conditional.

Could anyone please give me one more suggestion?

Hi,

I'm quite confused now about what you are trying to do, so I'll leave you in the capable hands of others with more patience than I have.

No Clive, your help was very good. I really appreciate it. I was just thinking of a sentence more appropriate for the first one. Because you said that answer is awkward.
