These sentence are about the same topic, could you tell me if it is unnatural and how to correct it.

1a I want them to talk about it face to face. That way I'll know if my friend is a liar like you say your girlfriend says he is.

1b Her lying to you is directly tied back to the discussion you had with her. She felt she would disappoint you after the discussion you had so decided to lie to you.

1c What I said to your wife isn't detrimental to your relationship. It's not like I told her you had cheated on her.

1d No matter how you meant what you said, it was not right of you to say it.

1e I knew our wives being friends would cause trouble/problem/stir up trouble between us.

1f You like to make the story sound worse than it is. You blow things out of proportion.

1g That is definitely a cause for/of conflict.
