Hi
Please tell me which is OK.
1. The meeting starts at 9 and will get over at around 11.
I think this is OK. Can we accept starting time' and 'ending time' if the schedule is given a tabular form and not in the form of sentence as given above.

2. She cooks me delicious dishes or She prepares delicious dishes for me.
3. My favourite flower is rose/ the rose.
4. She has won a fortune for life/life fortune (meaning won so much money to take care of the rest of her life.)
5. She engages in gardening as a leisure activity/leisure time activity.
6. I want it immediately/right now.

I think that:

1. is fine
2. better would be: She cooks some delicious dishes for me or the second that u wrote
3. My favourite flower is rose. The Rose sounds like a title or sth.
4. i' m not quite sure if this makes any sense, somebody else has to take an attitude towards this sentence, i don;t know
5. leisure activity is enough
6. Both are correct, first
