They will have been talking for over an hour by the time Thomas arrives. - OK. Correct.
How long will you have been studying when you graduate? - Correct.

Do the following sentences carry the same meaning as the ones above?

1. They will be talking for over an hour before Thomas arrives. - This one makes sense. Also, what's the difference between 'will be talking' and 'will talk' in this case?

2. How long will you be studying before you graduate? - How about this one?
