2.Fred or he goes to the cinema.
3.Fred and they go to the cinema.
4.Fred or they go to the cinema.
5.They and Fred go to the cinema.
6.They or Fred goes to the cinema.

All are correct. You said these are all highly unnatural sounding. Please explain me the reason.
