Hello, 

I am not sure whether the three sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.

Can you give me a hand with checking them

1. It is a laptop that enables me to know what happen in my country or in the world when I travel to other countries.

2. I work as a journalist. Although I travel to other countries in order to alleviate my stressful emotions, visit my foreign friends, or whatever, I am still concerned with both domestic and international news.

3. I can feel less homesick if I have a small talk with my family or have a gossip with friends on the Internet.
