Sentence wording

Is this sentence worded in the best way? FYI- Tylocost is the elf.
Tol informed Tylocost that the elf was no longer his prisoner and could go free after the completion of his mission.

Okay thanks a lot. Is this revision make it clear that the 'he' refers to Tylocost? FYI- Tol is the warlord.
