Sentence wording

Is the end of this sentence worded in the correct way?
Ariakas had already used his agents to draw the regions of Taman Busuk and Estwilde under his control, and he did the same with Kern, Blöde, Khur, and the Blood Sea Isles in 341 AC, resulting in an influx of ogre, minotaur, and additional human troops in the dragonarmies.

Top answer

cboutin3 resulting in an influx of ogre, minotaur, and additional human troops in the dragonarmies. Should it be 'as well as', since ogre and minotaur, I presume, are not considered to be human?

Okay thanks and no they are not. I state in the preceding sentences that 'human soldiers' were recruited into the dragonarmies, hence the 'additional' so should I still change the 'and' into 'as well'?

Given that, I would say no.
