Hi. Thank you. Looking at the sentence I wrote after you corrected it, I think you are right on that the sentence needed articles. But at the same time, I feel this, that is putting articles in this type of sentence, is something that is often overlooked by people -- I think it maybe not by most native speakers, but I think it can be said of those who are learning English (not sure, though). In my opinion, omitting articles where they are needed is the most common error made by learners of English.

The good news, of course, is that their intended meaning is almost always still easy to see.
