Sentence: What would you like to have been called?

Hi there,

I've just signed up, so I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place to post, although I think it is.
I'd like to know whether the aformentioned sentence in the subject 1. is correct (or should it be 'How would..'), 2. sounds natural to you.

Thanks in advance,

Buffett

PS. A question that just came up: Should it be 'sounds natural' or 'sounds naturally'? I clearly think the former is correct, but why? I mean, natural is related to 'sound', right, and shouldn't it therefore be 'naturally'?

Hi Buffett,
Welcome to the Forums!

What would you like to be called? (present, right now)
What would you like to have been called? (present, reflecting on the past)

Natural modifies it.

Another was to express this is:

It has a natural sound to it.

What would you like to be called? (What name?) 'John'? 'Mr. Johnson'? 'Johnny'?

How would you like to be called? (called = summoned) By ringing a bell? By banging a drum? By an announcement over the loudspeaker?

It sounds naturally. = It emits sound naturally. It is part of its nature to emit sound.
(Not likely this would be used much.)

It sounds natur
