Sentence types

Hi!

Can someone help me identify these sentences either as a simple, compound, complex or compound-complex sentence? And why.

“When you do extensive writing, you write a lot on many subjects.”

“You’re going to do both extensive and intensive writing.”

" The result of an initial composition test will facilitate your placement in an appropriate writing class, in which the tutor will provide individually-tailored writing material in order to enable students to transfer to the next and higher level of writing.”

"Intensive writing means that your classmates will give feedback on your work and you’ll get a chance to improve it and become a better writer.”

" Whereas the former may be defined as writing extensively on a wide variety of subjects, the latter entails producing successive, peer-reviewed drafts of the same text to perfect it so that a more sophisticated level of writing can be attained. "

Thanks alotEmotion: smile
