SENTENCE TYPE

Dear Grammarians,

I think the following sentence is an imperative:

If you have not already done so, circle all the analytic verbs in your answers.

'If you have not already done so' is a subordinating clause with 'circle all the....' as the independent clause. However, 'circle all the...' is giving an instruction with the verb at the beginning. The subordinating clause could be placed after the instruction.

Am I correct?

Many thanks

Kosmo
