In the second sentence, you might want to consider past perfect tense, passive voice in the "which" clause, "which have been laid on me." If you're escaping in the present, the laying of responsibilities will have been completed.

Hi,
'while this job is definitely important for the company, i can see plainly that it is too humble for me'

A small comment about vocabulary.
The word 'humble' would not normally be used here.

Other ways to say this include
It is too low-level for me.
It is not challenging enough for me.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi Clive,
I had the same thought. People are "humble."
So I'm thinking about "my humble abode." Why not "my humble car - my humble job"? No way??

Hi,
It's just not a word that is used very much, particularly about onself or one's possesions.

In the original context, if you say that a job is 'too humble for me', you will sound arrogant.

To be honest with you, I thought arrogance was what we were trying to express here.
