Sentence syntax-owe to the fact

the sentence below is the one I need to analyze it grammatically(such as Subject, verb, adverbial..)

-------------

The little I know about the internal combustion engine I owe to the fact that the ones I have owned tend to break down.

-------------

Although I understand what this sentence probably means(meaning probably 'fact I know about the engine is came from the break experiences of engine'), I can't exactly understand the syntax of it; especially '~engine I owe to the fact' part.

I need the help to understand this sentence more grammatically.

sincerely.
