Can you tell me whether this sentence could be written in a much shorter version?:


Have you ever met a person who caused a great impression on you and you remember this person years after you met him/her?

For some reason, I find the question above too long and convoluted. well, that's my impression; what do you think? Please let me know.

I don't find it so, but I find 'cause' wrong. You can amputate the end of the sentence.

You could also say eg Have you ever met someone who impressed you so much that you still remember him/her years later?
