Sentence structure (antecedent and subject)

Change the laws surrounding guns. That will be the day students and parents feels safe at school. (What will be the day ?)

Is this sentence correct ? Is it not missing a clear antecedent ? In order to use 'that' in this way, doesn't it need a clear subject in the first sentence ?

I appreciate what you did for my son, that's true bravery.

(And again here). What is true bravery ? It needs defining.

It may work in speech but is wrong as a sentence- right ?

Change the laws surrounding guns. That will be the day students and parents feels feel safe at school.

It seems very clear that the speaker is referring to the day people change the laws surrounding guns, so I wouldn't call this sentence wrong.,

I appreciate what you did for my son. That's true bravery.
