Sentence Structure

Is this grammatically correct?

A special treat for this Chinese New Year that the whole family can enjoy! This double feature contains Monsters Hunt and The Mermaid.

Top answer

Yes, it's OK. I would personally change "this Chinese New Year" to "the Chinese New Year" or just "Chinese New Year", but it's a matter of opinion. The first "sentence" is not a grammatically complete sentence, but I expect you are aware of this.

  • Normally I prefer to put the titles of works such as films in italics, but in your sort of context this would probably seem too fussy or "academic".
