Hi Everyone,
I gave my class the following sentence. We were discussing its structure.
As scientists get closer to understanding the problem, so too, are we better able to find a solution.
One student didn't understand why 'are' goes before 'we'. I talked about in terms of subject, verb, object etc.
However, what is the best explanation to make this clear?
