These sentences are still being edited by me but I was wondering if 'and we must not waste it' at the very end sounds ok?

For a positive life, simple luxuries must be acknowledged. From the moment we wake, think about what makes our life a little easier in the morning. For example, clean water to wash with. Many of us are keen to shower in the mornng. However, whilst showering, we must remember that water is a gift that many are deprived of and we must not waste it.
