Sentence structure

Could you tell me which one is right among the following sentences? Thank you.

1A. People consider asking someone's age [rude/rude behavior]. (If both of 'rude' and 'rude behavior' is not acceptable here, please tell me about it)
1B. People consider it [rude/rude behavior] to ask someone's age.

2A. I thought telling her the truth better.
2B. I thought I had better tell her the truth.
2C. I thought it would be better to tell her the truth.

These are all correct English, but I find (1A) and (2A) least appealing. Semantically there seems no compelling reason to include the word "behaviour".
