Sentence Structure

Hi guys!
I was wondering what kind of sentence "I don't know why she did that," would be. (Simple, compound, complex, compound-complex) Just wondering for an upcoming test!! Thanks.

Hi. It is called embedded question in which a question is embedded in a sentence. The grammatical point of such structures is that, the question needs to have the same word order as a sentence.
