Sentence Structure

Could someone please tell me the structure of this sentence,
"She was reported to have been shot..."

Is the sentence "She was reported" a one clause and "to have been shot" another one?

How are these two connected with each other?
Someone explain me in grammatical terms please.
Is it a special passive voice sentence structure?
