Sentence structure

1. What is the difference in the degree measures of the angles formed by the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock at 12:35 and 12:36?

Hi guys, I copied this question out of my math book. Which two angles is the question refering to? The wording is very confusing to me. Thanks in advance!

I interpret it like this:

Let X be the angle between the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock at 12:35.

Let Y be the angle between the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock at 12:36.

What is the difference between X and Y?

eg Let X be the acute angl

Would it be tiresome of me to point out that at 12:35 or 12:36 the hands don't make an acute angle?

I guess you could say "obtuse angle". I think that excludes angles greater than 180 degrees.
