Thanks much for your correction and suggestion, Clive. I agree 'refactor' is a bit odd here. Since it is a new buzz word in software industry, I was allured to use it.
Sorry, if the explanation is bit off the discussion. Refactoring is a process of making an ineffecient code into an efficient code that would improve the performance of the system , and meet the QOS-Quality of Service-requirements. Besides, I don't do any of these jobs, but have a little understanding about the field of technlogy.
I realize I forgot to mention an important thing. Most of the jobs that have been moved from USA to India are customer support jobs where a call from an American consumer will be attended by a person from India.
