Sentence structure

02br
00He went by the house of the lady that had a scary reputation. 02br
02br
00to mean that the lady had a scary reputation, not the house. Of course I am able to reconstruct it in different ways but still wonder whether I can do it with this "that" clause. 02br
02br

0 Could you please elaborate on "You can do it with the "that" clause.."? Can you give a viable solution? It's so difficult because no matter how much I read and talk in English it's not my mother tongue and I can't "feel" for sure what is right or wrong. Thanks again. 0-
