Sentence sounds awkward

The end of this sentence sentence sounds very awkward, right?

I would be forever in your debt were you to suggest any ways by which I can improve my writing [ I have] (enclosed) below.

Why does it sound better when I move the and perhaps (enclosed) to have it read:

I would be forever in your debt were you to suggest any ways by which I can improve my writing enclosed below.

I think that replacing my with the and the having the 'I have enclosed below' sounds better, but why is this so?

I would be forever in your debt were you to suggest any ways by which I can improve the writing I have enclosed below.

Thanks!

Yes, a little formal, long, and awkward. Keeping to your thought, I would say:

I would be forever in your debt if you could suggest how I could improve the (essay, sentences, paragraph...) which follows.

Does that help?
