I am not sure whether the two sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.

1. Natural disasters, tsunami, earthquake, hurricane, devastated all of the property and houses survivors had possessed, resulting in the common phenomenon that victims live in a bad refuge and lead a uncomfortable life.
In Taiwan’s educational system, more than ninety percent of senior high school students will enter a college or university even though they are not eager to advance their studies because most companies require their applicants who must get bachelor’s degree at least. For this reason, they cannot help entering a college.
