Sentence questions

Hello, 

I am not sure whether the three sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.
Can you give me a hand with checking them
Thank you for your help.

1. It is easy to see why I want to find a roommate myself rather than the university because I hope my roommate whose character and interest are similar to me

2.One of the advantages of choosing roommates by myself can improve my academic performance.

3. In order to live with someone being an idle student, I hoped I could find a roommate who was enthusiasm about academic research and study by myself.
