Sentence questions.

Hello, 

I am not sure whether the three sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics.
Can you give me a hand with checking them
Thank you for your help.

1. Not only do the government make a law to forbid people tp smoke in public places but also fully enforce it, maintaining smolers and non-smokers' health.

2. The community where I dwelled in also had a highly dense population, some of whom possessed the high social position and worked as professors, lawyers, officers, or manger.

3.One of the mangers told me that the market is the cutthroat business world in which everyone joins the rat race, so if I want to survive, I must only not exhibit good job performance but also continue to receive staff training.
