How about other sentences.
Are they correct?

Because I am not an extrovert, a large group doesn’t suit me.

Spending my spare time with a large group tortures me.

Yes, they are OK. If they were my sentences, I might change to 'introvert', and switch 'doesn't suit' and 'tortures':

'Because I am an introvert, a large group tortures me.'
'Spending my spare time with a large group doesn't suit me.'

But it's not very important.
