can anyone please gramatically break down the following sentence for me?i mean that in a way just like "S+V+O"What do you think that says about the kind of person you are?thank you.

I'm only answering because I see nobody has answered yet. I am not a grammar expert, but I think that's a difficult question.

If you think the basic sentence is...
You think that says something (=what?) about the kind of person you are
...then you could say that the main subject is "you", the main verb is "think", and the main object is a nested sentence: "That says something (=what?) about the kind of person you are".

However, for some reason, I tend to think of that structure in a different way, and consider the main sentence to be this one:

That says something (=what?) about the kind of person you are.
I see the "do you think" part just as a kind of block that can be inserted in questions to ask someone's opinion.
In this case, the subject is "that", the verb is "says", and the object is "what".
I think seeing the structure in this way is more "natural" and it's probably how native speakers' brains perceive it unconsciously, but it's just my opinion (I'm not even a native speaker).

That says (what?) about the kind of person you are.
What that says about the kind of person you are? (no inversion)
What do you think that says about the kind of person you are? (inversion only in the "do you think" optional block).

Somebody needs the money.
Who needs the money? (no inversion)

Who do you think needs the money? (inversion only in the "do you think" optional block)
