Sentence phrase "I don't want any part of him."

Hi guys,

could you please clarify the sentence phrase "I don't want any part of him" to me?

It sounds little cannibalistic to me..Emotion: smile anyway, here are examples from net

1) Britain should make it clear that they do not want any part of him after this. Once bitten twice shy.

2) And I have met him and I just don't want any part of him.

My guess is..."I don't want any part of him" = I don't wanna be involved with anymore..???

thanks in advance

I don't want anything to do with him or want no part of him means that others are through with you and will sue or jail you if you reach them.
