Sentence Patterns

Dear Teachers,

I just want to ask about the sentence pattern of this sentence: "The rootwords are shaded blue." I thought it's S-LV-SC pattern, but I am confused with the word after the linking verb are since I know it's a verb. May I also add this question: What is the sentence pattern used in sentences in the passive voice of verb?
