Sentence Pattern / Structure

While "The dog eats meat" is "S - V - DO",
what is the pattern of this sentence: "I guess I need to feed my dog."

Does this sentence have an omitted "that" between two clauses?
Suddenly, I got confused with this sentence.
Thanks

Yes:

Thanks!

So, the given sentence then is a complex sentence having an independent clause (I guess) and a subordinate clause (that I need to feed my dog.)
What would the pattern be then?: S - V S - V - ? ?

Yes, but I'm not sure that those symbols are adequate for the syntax.
S - V - C [ S - V ] or something like that seems more to the mark.
