Sentence pattern S V DO OR SC;S,V DO or SC

Are my sentences correct for this particular sentence pattern?
Afternoon classes are very relaxing;early classes,much harder.
Amanda enjoyed romance comedies;violent movies,uncomfortable.
All the children wanted to go to McDonald's for lunch;although, Burger King was closer.
Attending South Florida University has made me happy;its environment is calming.
