Sentence paaterns

Sentence 1: The long-haired monkeys are intelligent.
Sentence 2: The long-tailed monkeys are more intelligent than the short-tailed monkeys.

Sentence 1 is based on S-V-C pattern, but in sentence 2, when you add the comparative form, what is the sentence pattern?

Thanks.

It is a bit clearer when you add the missing words. (are intelligent) There is a main clause and a subordinate clause. The subordinate clause is also S-V-C, but in the abbreviated form the predicate is implicit, not explicit, thus, simply "S"
