Sentence meaning?

Hye everyone! could you please tell me what does this mean?
"My dog is obsessed with me"
"My dog has an obsession with the dogs in the T.V.
I want to know ,what does "obsession" mean and what are the synonymous sentences or meaning for these?
I will really appreciate if You give me some more sentence for this word which could help me understand these.

Sir! thanks for answering but I still have a question that is, doesn,t obsession mean,someoneis under the illusion about being of something, for instance my dog has an obsession with my cat being his female dog.
