Sentence making problem

Hi,

I went to a mobile repairing shop today and they asked me to describe the mobile phone issue.

Actually, the problem is with torch and speaker. I explained it like,

The torch and speaker work if the mobile is pressed from back. Is it a correct sentence?

You can switch on the torch if you press the phone back. I am not sure how it can be explained

Please help!

Thanks,

Harry
